The minimum age is 16 years for enrolling on the Full Forklift Course
Successful and competent operators get a ‘Forklift Operators Certificate’ that is recognised and approved by WorkSafe NZ and it will be valid for 3 years. Later, you may require to do a Refresher Course. Candidates receive a photo ID card where qualifications are noted.
